Platte County Legacy Home is a skilled nursing facility offering short term rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, respite care, and long-term comprehensive medical care. We are located in Wheatland, Wyoming, seventy miles north of Cheyenne. The Laramie Mountains serve as the backdrop to our quaint Wyoming town.

Platte County Legacy Home is a non-profit nursing home/assisted living facility that opened our doors to a new building in 2016. We are one of five, 5-Star rated facilities in the state. The facility is directed by an elected board of seven trustees. The day to day operations of the facility are managed by our administrator and management team. Our mission is to provide a continuum of excellent care and service to the aging in a spirit of love, respect, and compassion.
